Portuguese lessons, moving into our new home, connecting with our new staff team, and learning how to live in a completely different context has been very exciting!

a new semester

Students arrive back on campus this Monday from their β€œmid-year break.” We are beyond excited to be amidst the buzz of campus again. It’s a 10 minute walk from our house to the dorms where we’ve already made connections with students willing to reach their peers.

I met a girl on campus who I invited to an A Palavra worship night. I didn’t know she attended until she texted me later saying how great it was and how she is eager to get involved. When I was explaining to her what we were doing on campus she was expressing that all college students need this. What an encouragement.

During a staff meeting, Zo shared a vision he saw that he felt like was for us. I think it’s worth sharing here, too. He saw himself pouring pure water onto the floor in the room we were worshiping that then turned into a river. Down the river other people/things were pouring dirty water into this river that made it unclean. He felt like God was showing us that this was His living water flowing through the country of Mozambique. β€œIt’s time to let the river flow. It’s time to wash away the darkness with a fresh flow of living water.” We are praying this for our country and yours.
