Great news! We have financial clearance! That means support for our 2 year term is raised & we are free to move on to the next step. I’ve celebrated 15 times in the last week (with lots of ice cream & coffees) because this was huge for us. The past two years have been challenging and so good. I feel like we have had plenty of time to prepare, soak up family time, learn to build lasting partnerships, and deal with what God wanted us to.

This was the challenging part. God corrected us individually and in multiple aspects of our marriage in order to be healthy moving forward. At the time, I was not happy about it 🀭 because I didn’t understand how things like hope or better communication was going to get us to Africa sooner. As I’m reflecting on the change inside of me, the biggest has been my relationship with God. My love for Jesus has been refreshed. These lessons all took time that I had to learn not to rush.

It has been a season that I was not expecting to turn out the way it did. I was more upset and frustrated than I’d like to admit, but I’m thankful for every day now. I would have missed so much.

We are in the middle of our Visa process. Be praying that we will have these Visas in our hands quicker than expected! Once we have our Visas we will be able to buy plane tickets. Don’t worry, the minute we find out all this info we will be sure to share!
